Archetype Product:
Custom Multi-Layered Graphic Glass Silhouettes
Application:
Photographic Elements in an Architectural Installation
Setting:
The George Washington Carver Center at the USDA Agricultural Research Center Service Headquarters, Beltsville, MD.
What did we do?
Archetype worked through several rounds of development in creating the photographic silhouettes for this floor-to-ceiling installation, resulting in a compelling storyline mural that highlights the lasting contributions of George Washington Carver’s work in the field of agricultural research.
Archetype enhanced the presence of the large-scale images by separating the archival photographs into layers, printing on glass, then laminating the layers together into solid, triple-thick glass elements, achieving depth and dimension that a single layer could not achieve.
